If you have xbox - you need it! I have wireless controller which works when you put 2 AA batteries into it. Unfortunately, something doesn't work and sometimes controllers turns off (when working on batteries). This charging cable helps with my problem - you take off batteries from the controller and plug in this cable. You can plug it into Xbox but also... You can plug it to the powerbank :D that means that you still can have "wireless" controller. Length of cable is accurate for small room. I prefer using it with USB extender - or, as I described above, plugging it to the powerbank - then length is not the most important
